The Triad of Health

The Triad of Health was initially described by the founder of chiropractic, D.D. Palmer, and then later described in more detail by the founder of Applied Kinesiology, Dr. George Goodheart. Applied Kinesiology, or AK, is the most amazing scientific system of healthcare in the world. AK evaluates and treats the Triad of Health, including the structure and biochemistry as well as their emotional state. AK can be found in nearly every industrialized nation.
Although each side of the triangle of The Triad of Health accounts for 33% of the cause of disease, disharmony, or dysfunction, any one side can be fatal on its own. For example, if you damage the structural, mental or chemical state of your body severely enough, death will result.

Most people have portions of each third of the triad that are not at optimal health. Unhealthy diet, stinking thinking, and lack of adequate motion are aspects of this Triad of Health that we can effect. Components that we have less control over include environmental pollutants, missing body parts, etc.

Most health care professions only look at one side of The Triad of Health: psychiatry – emotions; orthopedic surgery – structure; and nutritionist/dietitians – nutrition. These professions rarely stop to consider their colleagues in other professions. Chiropractic and applied kinesiology are light years ahead of their time in this respect.
